1. Sales Training – Every Day

An athlete does not win a medal overnight.

Especially if he doesn’t train constantly.

Sales is the same. No one is ‘born’ with salesmanship. The good news is that it can be learned.

Proof of that is that our sales training platform is used by more than 120,000 companies globally.

These companies include Microsoft, Google, SalesForce, Ford and BMW among many others.

And of those, they achieve at least 15% sales growth in 90 days or less.

Train every day

And similar to athletes it’s not enough to go to a training seminar every few months.

One must train EVERY DAY.

The Harvard Business Review explains why classic training methods are not effective and why training daily improves retention by 70%.

The good news is that 10 – 15 minutes of daily training suffices. And if you add another 10 – 20 minutes of role playing you will soon have sales ninjas in your sales department.

2. Call yourself

Have you ever wondered how your prospects and customers see you? Making calls to your own company is a good way to ‘mystery shopper’. If you are responsible for making cold calls, try calling yourself instead of the prospect. If you are selling SaaS, have a non-sales oriented person call to test their experience. Try it with a competitor’s product if you want. The goal is not to sell them anything, but rather to get a sense for their experience when talking with your company.

3. Make a meaningful connection

It’s pretty easy to get lost in the sea of emails, voicemails and activity coming from social media. Make sure that your team is making meaningful connections with all prospects.

4. Automation

Great sales people always look for ways to streamline processes and create efficiencies.

Our platform impaKt.tech helps companies generate sales using automation by creating a virtual sales team to work for your company 24 hours a day.

5. Networking
How are you nurturing the future generation of connectors in your organization? Showing up at events, joining networking groups, and getting involved with the local entrepreneurial community is a great way to get companies to know who you are. Getting involved helps build your brand, but there are also plenty of other benefits to joining the community.
